Notification

No. S.O. 17/P.O.5/2005/S.8/2005. Whereas the State Government is satisfied that circumstances exist, which render it necessary to take immediate action in public interest ;

Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (3) of section 8 of the Punjab Value Added Tax Ordinance, 2005 (Punjab Ordinance No. 5 of 2005), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following amendments with immediate effect, by dispensing with the condition of previous notice, in terms of the provisions of the proviso to the aforesaid sub-section (3), in Schedules A, B, C, D and E appended to the said Ordinance, namely :-

AMENDMENT

1. In the said Schedule A, serial No. 9 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.

2. In the said Schedule B, after serial No. 19, the following shall be inserted namely :-

19-A Chemical fertilizers, gypsum, pesticides, weedicides, insecticides and fungicides.

3. In the said Schedule D, for the existing serial Nos. 1 and 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :-

1. Aviation Turbine fuel.

4. In the said Schedule E, after Serial No. 2, the following shall be added, namely :-

3. Petrol 27.5

4. Liquor 22.0.
